Canadian Wolves after a Successful Hunt in the Rockies
Canadian Wolves after a Successful Hunt in the Rockies
For reference(this video was taken under dark conditions, before sunrise).. Here is a Pack of 4 Canadian Wolves; 2 Mature adults and 2 younger Wolf Pups possibly entering their second Year in the Rockies. These wolves all appeared very healthy and Grey/Brown in color. They had a Whitetail Deer that they had to retreive from the Athabasca River, pulling it onto the South high snow/ice area to feed. The one collared for observation has been collared for approximately 2 years(suspected to be the Alpha Female). We reversed the captured content so the brighter moments are first for viewing and earlier that morning shows later in the video. We hope you can appreciate why we did that as we suspect most who love observing Wolves will be more interested in watching the entire video. At 10:34, we show a conceptual picture of the area from the night before, standing on top of a small Mountain trail head, showing the carcass in it's original location.
